Staff Service designer

I returned to Itaú after my master's degree, participating mainly in strategic projects at Itaú, focusing on innovation, customer experience and digital transformation. I led end-to-end Discovery initiatives, with qualitative and quantitative research, experimentation and evaluation-driven deliveries. I collaborated with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and real impact. I also founded the Service Design Guild, consolidating the practice of Service Design at the bank. During this period I received a recognition bonus.

Highlights include projects such as Open Finance, Beyond Banking, App Hyperpersonalization, Digital Experience and the development of the Culture of Experimentation.

Master's Degree in "Design Strategy and innovation"
Brunel University London // Londres, UK
Sep/2019 - Nov/2020

In 2019, I was awarded an international master's scholarship from Itaú, which allowed me to complete my master's degree at Brunel University London.

During this period, I dedicated myself entirely to my studies, as planned and encouraged by the scholarship program. Despite not being professionally active during this period, I maintained my ties with Itaú and would return to the company in a new position at the end of my academic journey.

With my dissertation: "a design framework for dealing with complex problems" I won the "Dean's Prize for Innovation and Impact in your Master's Dissertation", which awards the master's dissertation in design that year with the highest academic value.

Senior Product Designer

After a year as a third-party developer, I was invited to join Itaú's UX team, contributing to the app's development at a time when its features were expanding. I worked on everything from research and discovery to developing user-centric solutions, focusing on the digitalization of services, navigation, and personalization of the app.

Over time, I took on more strategic roles in innovation projects, which resulted in me winning an international master's scholarship offered by the bank itself.

I was hired to work exclusively as a third party at Banco Itaú as a UX Designer for the company's Digital Channels. My main role was to work as a UX designer, in partnership with graphic designers and businesses to develop projects and, mainly, prototype proposals.

During the process, I developed several journeys, interfaces and strategic studies that later proved to be important for my future hiring by Itaú.

I worked on two main fronts: interface design and user experience in complex software, with continuous testing and agile methodologies; and Service Design consultancy, focused on multichannel Customer Experience for large companies such as Vivo, Oi, Tim, Net and Cetelem, using proprietary approaches based on Design Thinking and Agile.
